I am a blog ambassador for Lakeshore Learning. This Lakeshore Learning Gift Guide post has been compensated.
I am back today with a Lakeshore Learning Gift Guide. If you read my Creative Gifts for Growing Minds post and my Gifts for Kids post, you know that we are big fans of the toys from Lakeshore Learning. Even before I became an ambassador, we loved the toys and activities they offered. Today, I want to get you excited about gifts for the kids on your list that they will actually play with and that will have them entertained for hours. And, the best part………… there are no electronics involved!
The first gift is Let’s Play School. Oh my goodness. If you have a child that likes to play school on your list, you MUST put this gift on your list. This kit comes packed full with everything he/she needs to play school at home.
Gabrielle was ecstatic when we opened this box. She finally had “proper” school supplies that would make her a “better teacher” and have her classroom run “efficiently”. (She says things like this a lot. I wish I had a recorder on her all the time because you never know what is going to come out of her mouth.) I was smirking when she said those things because I knew her stuffed animals were in for it. School was going to become a lot different for them now that she has “proper supplies” to teach them with.
She had the classroom set up downstairs in no time. We have been making over that room for the kids and things aren’t ready. She didn’t care. She set up shop right in the middle of it all and started teaching. I love that girl.
Either Miss Susie is doing a good job already or the teacher is doing a better job now that she has the right tools.
When a toy comes with a puzzle like this and your daughter says she needs to learn it before she can teach it, you sit back and congratulate yourself for finding the perfect toy.
The Pet Vet Clinic is another gift guide idea that is packed full of cool stuff. This kit has everything your child needs for any procedure they need to perform on their animal patients.
Lakeshore Learning thought of it all with this kit. Gabrielle is obsessed with stuffed animals so The Pet Vet Clinic has gotten a lot of use. She has weighed, bandaged, washed, brushed and check-out every animal she has. She writes the forms out in pencil so she can reuse them over and over again. She loves that part.
The first aid kit that comes in The Pet Vet Clinic is better than our kit at home!
The Maze Cube was our family’s game night for about a week! Of course a toy like this has to become a competition with our kids. Then, mom and dad got involved and we were all trying to see who could get through the maze the furthest.
Matt and I couldn’t believe how much the kids played with the Maze Cube. Landen couldn’t beat Gabrielle’s best and he was bound and determined to do so. She was pretty proud of herself that she was ahead of her big brother.
