It is that time again for another #MakeIt Challenge! This month, our theme is spring.
I think everyone is super excited for spring this year. Even the warmer states were hit with a nasty winter so this spring is a little more anticipated than any other.
For this project, I made a boring terra-cotta pot a little more exciting with a “peek-a-boo” surprise.
I picked up a bunch of these pots last year from a local grocery store who had them on clearance.
To start the makeover on these pots, I dry brushed the outside of them with Country Chic Paint in “Simplicity”.
To add the “peek-a-boo” element, I painted the inside of the pots spring colors. Then, I used a pouncer to make white polka dots.
I painted the rims of the pots yellow.
I filled one of the pots with spring “crafty” things.
A friend of mine loves spring and loves to craft so I thought this Peek-A-Boo Terra Cotta Pot would make her day.
The Dollar Spot has had some amazing spring items which helped fill these terra-cotta pots.
These pots welcome spring with open arms. They would be great for teachers, neighbors, mothers and even the kiddos in your life.
There is a lot of spring inspiration to be had in this #MakeIt Challenge so be sure to check out the other bloggers projects!
