Christmas Vignettes In The Dining Room

3 Mins read

Hello! If you are coming over from Kingsbury Brook Farm, welcome! I am so happy you are here! I love sharing the frugal ways I decorate our home to make it a cozy and beautiful space for our family and friends. I have shared many rooms of our home decked out for the holidays this year, but today is all about the Christmas Vignettes In The Dining Room. I say vignettes because there are always a few set up in our small dining area.

I am joining some blogging friends in this tour so make sure to check out all of their beautiful Christmas decor at the end of this post.

I set an easy Christmas tablescape last week. Tablescapes are always fun for me, but I also love decorating the glass cabinets we added in our dining area. We put in this wall of cabinets to add storage to our kitchen area and I really wanted to leave the top cabinets open so I would have extra space to decorate during a new season or when my decorating mood changes. That’s always important when you are thinking about remodeling, right?!

I feel like I always decorate each section separately, but yet they act as one space. This year, I added a little vintage flair to the cabinets.

Easy ways to add festive touches to your home in small areas with Christmas vignettes!

Since I purge so much every year when I am getting the Christmas decorations out, I never know what will end up where. That is the fun part for me. I like to change things up a lot so it always looks different around here each year.

Small Christmas vignettes are one of my favorite ways to decorate because you can have special “moments” all throughout your home.

We call the counter in the dining area the “buffet”. It is great space for food and drinks when we are entertaining, but it is also fun to add Christmas vignettes to during the holiday season!

I am a fan of anything wood; wood beads, wood cutting boards, wood stands, etc. I use them all year round. They are timeless. They won’t go out of style so I feel like it is a good investment if I find something I love. (Don’t you love my reasoning for my wood cutting board/bead/stand hoarding problem?)

I just received this beautiful wood bead garland from Emory Valley Mercantile. I love the added detail on the end! Merry Christmas to me!

I am excited to be getting done with my holiday obligations here on the blog so I can take some time off around the holidays to spend with the fam.

Make sure to head over to Poofing The Pillows to see her Christmas vignettes! After seeing all of the posts today, I want to decorate another one.

I found some great pieces online that are very similar to what I added to my Christmas vignettes below:
