It is Christmas season and time to start thinking about gifts; not only for the entire family, but for the kids on our list. Cool gifts for kids are so hard to buy sometimes. I wanted them to spend their time imagining and creating ways to entertain themselves that had nothing to do with electronics. You can’t believe the magic that happens when kids are able to think that way. It is so fun to watch.

Not only do they come away with a fun toy to play with, but they get to build it themselves! Our daughter thrives with activities like this. It builds her confidence and shows her that she is way more capable than she gives herself credit for. Her brother builds things and with toys and activities like this one, she can do it right along with him.

Cool gifts for kids are hard to buy sometimes, but when you think of the overall picture and what kids are great at, creativity and imagination, it makes the gift-buying process much easier.
