Do you love chalkboard signs, but making them stresses you out?
That was me.
I used to cringe when I thought about making chalkboard signs. I would find so many quotes and chalkboard art that I wish I could create on my own, but they would never turn out. It would always look like a toddler did it. I got so frustrated so I stopped even trying to make chalkboard signs.
Then, I discovered Chalk Couture and it has made me excited to create chalkboard signs again! Now, chalkboard signs are a breeze and I never have to stress about making them ever again.
I have never wanted to be a salesperson or come off “salesy”, but when I discover something that I love and that has made something I have struggled with easier, I have to share it here. Chalk Couture is my latest discovery and I can’t shout enough about how easy it has made creating home decor for me.
This vintage truck chalkboard sign is one of my favorite creations so far. I love anything green and a vintage truck is my dream vehicle so this chalkboard sign is the perfect addition to my office for spring.
I created a video so you can see how I made this sign in real time.
When the weather started getting warmer here in Iowa, I started adding a damp paper towel over the transfers after I add the Chalk Paste. This ensures that the paste will not dry too fast after you apply it and you get a clean picture when you pull the transfer off.
To finish this chalkboard sign, I added some flowers to the back of the truck and a fun saying to the top.
If you are ready to start making beautiful chalkboard signs for your home, office. classroom or shop, head over to my Chalk Couture store HERE. You can either sign up to be an independent designer like I am or shop the store for transfers, Chalk Paste , Chalk Ink and assessories.
As you can see from the video, the transfers are super easy to use and Chalk Couture has so many transfers to choose from that you can literally make any custom sign you want. The Chalk Paste can be used on any surface (wood, metal, glass, etc.) and the ink is permanent. The Chalk Paste can be wiped off a chalkboard so you can use it over and over again and the transfers can be used at least a dozen times. You just wipe them off with a damp paper towel after you use them.
I have had the most fun learning and creating with Chalk Couture. I would love to have you join my team and become an independent designer! Head HERE to do so!
I would love to know what kind of chalkboard signs or home decor you would make first. Tell me in the comments!
