Essentials For The Center Console Of Your Car – We just bought a new car! We have been thinking about it for some time, but since our cars work just fine and we aren’t people who need new shiny cars every few years, we waited until we found what we wanted at a price we were willing to pay.
Buying cars is not a fun process for me. We knew that we were going to have to get another car soon because Landen will be driving more. Landen likes driving Matt’s smaller car, so we have known that they will be the car for the kids. Our mini van still runs great, so Matt will be putting all the miles on that one (he drives pretty far for work every day) and then we would get a new family car that I would drive. We still have our truck, but we only drive that to haul things when we need it.
One of the things I really wanted our new car was a center console.
I wanted good storage and storage that closed. I like organization and I wanted everything easily assessable between the front two seats. Once we got the car, I bought a console divider to keep everything organized inside. Now that I have the console, I want to make sure I have all the essentials I need inside. I am sharing all the essentials to store in the center console of your car in this post for easy reference.

Reading Glasses/Blue Light Glasses
Some of the other suggestions were napkins, snacks, a plug kit, auxiliary cords, makeup bag with extra makeup and toiletries, change and a $20 bill for emergencies (or uexpected yard sales 🙂 ).
I think this is a great list to get me started. What else would you suggest? I will update this list when more ideas come my way!
